Skills.

This is my fruit bowl, when i started it, i came across alot of problems for example: triangulating the polygons and to overcome this, i had to start again and convert the polygons but set it to quads and general fit and then it makes it neat and easy to add detail.

This is my apple that i finished for my fruit bowl, i ran into some problems with doing this apple, the main one was to fill the hole at the top of the stalk, how i did this was i used the multi-cut tool to add edges on to the stalk so i can bend them and make the entire stalk bend a little to give it a curve.
I added the apples to the bowl to give me an image of what it will look like.

Today, i started making a banana in Maya, it was way easier then expected and it went well, the problems i ran into during this were how many rings i had to make around the banana, i did not have to put that many so i did it right in the end and all i have to do it fill the two ends and model around them.

Maya Dice.

This is the dice i made in Maya, and the main task was to texture the dice with our own custom texture, i personally ran into alot of problems but nothing i couldn't work out so my first problem was saving it as a 24bit Targa file, i made the mistake of doing a 32bit but after that i got it to work and textured my cube.

I used this basic texture to cover my dice and after i added some lighting to it to make it reflect a bit more.

This is my Maya Garage so far, i came across a lot of problems while doing this the main one was trying to make the roof but when i got the hang of it, it was really easy, all i had to do was to delete a few edges and then the vertexes and move the last edge towards the middle of the roof, to do this i only used a few tools like: Extrude, Multi-Cut, Bevel and Bridge.

These are the two new additions to my garage scene, the bottles was the hardest to make because i had to use the multi-cut tool and get it precise as possible also to make the little bottles, i duplicated the larger one that has the box on top of it and scaled it down and tinkered around to make them more bottle like.

I added more detail to these fuel dispensers by adding 4 rods near the top, underneath the sign on both of them.
